When CombineMed introduced a new sourcing framework and technology called “Expressive Commerce” to the healthcare industry, Elias/Savion developed the interactive, e-commerce enabled Web site and registration engine to launch the initiative. The $1 billion sourcing event drew nationwide participation from leading pharmaceutical and medical surgical manufacturers, preparing to enter proposals for the hospital sourcing needs of UPMC and other hospitals. The site provided a step by step process for suppliers to learn about Expressive Commerce, register for the RFP, and explore training options before selecting their training preferences. The site’s reporting structure was used to help CombineMed optimize supplier participation.
